Job Title: Online Teaching Assistant (Grades 10-12 Math Courses)

Location: Remote (Ontario-based)

We are a secondary school accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education to offer credit courses towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). We are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support our online math courses for Grades 10 to 12, including:

• MPM2D (Grade 10 Principles of Mathematics, Academic)

• MCR3U (Grade 11 Functions, University)

• MHF4U (Grade 12 Advanced Functions, University)

• MCV4U (Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors, University)

• MDM4U (Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management, University)

Job Details:

• Work Hours: Part-time, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week

• Hourly Rate: $25/hour

• Job Type: Remote

• Responsibilities: Primarily focused on online grading and assessment; no teaching responsibilities required. HR department staff will assist with collecting work hours and handling payroll communications.

Qualifications:

1. · Ontario Secondary School Graduate: Applicants must have attended high school in Ontario and be familiar with Ontario high school math content and grading systems.

2. · Transcript Required: Applicants must provide a high school transcript showing their math grades.

3. · University Status: Please specify in your application email whether you are currently enrolled in university or have already graduated.

4. · English Proficiency: Applicants must be able to communicate fluently in English.

5. · Flexible Candidates: We welcome recent graduates or current students, as long as you have time to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.

6. · Eligible to Work in Ontario: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ontario and provide basic employee information upon hiring, including valid ID, SIN, home address, and bank information.

Work Environment: Applicants must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing the pressures of timely task completion.
