About the Role
We are seeking a Recruiting Intern!
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and graduating in 2025.
- Interest in recruiting.
- Ability to work 15- 20 hrs/week (exact schedule is flexible.)
- 3.2 GPA.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Screening: Review resumes and cover letters to pre-qualify candidates based on job requirements including calling candidates for more information when needed.
- Scheduling: Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Operational Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as updating applicant tracking systems, generating reports, and maintaining candidate files and tracking hiring progress.
- Campus recruiting: Manage registration for various campus events, ensure proper staffing, send confirmation emails, manage logistics, and attend events when needed.
- Project Assistance: Contribute to special projects related to recruiting, such as developing recruiting materials, creating presentations, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the team.
