About the Role
Position Summary
Assured Guaranty is seeking to hire an intern within the Vendor Management to provide administrative support to the VMO including maintenance of vendor records (tax documentation, contracts) as well as assistance with day-to-day workflow and summer projects.
Primary Responsibilities
The intern will assist with the following tasks:

Populate vendor records on ProcessUnity with tax IDs, correct vendor names to match documentation (as applicable)

Maintain vendor records in OneDrive

“Active” folder contains all current vendors and “Terminated” contains all former vendors

Vendor folders hold applicable tax documentation, contracts, NDAs, etc.

W-9s are all saved not only within the vendor’s personal folder but also the general W-9 folder that is shared with AP
-
Create and terminate, as applicable, users in the ProcessUnity platform

Assist with updating current active vendor contacts for annual Human Rights Notice

Assist Analyst with internal/external chasing regarding 2025 vendor renewals and applicable security assessments

Assist with general preparation for 2026 (pull report of vendors up for renewal and begin compiling applicable contracts, determining what security documents will need to be requested, etc.)
Candidate Background and Qualifications
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and present assignments concisely and accurately
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently (maintaining accountability over the task at hand)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
The salary for the position is expected to be from $28 per hour to $32 per hour. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast (Tuesday) and lunch (Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.
Note: A housing stipend may be available for interns who live outside of the New York metropolitan area and move to the New York metropolitan area for the internship, subject to certain conditions.
