Global Transaction Banking offers comprehensive business banking solutions on a global basis to small business, commercial and corporate clients of the Bank. This role will be supporting the Strategic Initiatives and Project Management Office (PMO) teams.

The Strategic Initiatives team develops and deploys initiatives and programs that drive strategic priorities in GTB related to employee engagement and communications support.

The PMO team manages and governs projects according to the policy, framework and standards defined by Enterprise Project Management Office to ensure they are standardized. We direct the development, approval, and execution of initiatives to support GBP’s and the Bank’s strategic plans and objectives.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
You will support with employee engagement initiatives, including maintaining an events calendar, facilitating onboarding processes and coordinating logistics for deliverables. In addition, you will support with internal and external communication needs including deployment across channels such as Business Net and SharePoint.

- You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
- You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
- You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, competitions, and/or hackathons.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
- You have excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- You have great attention to detail, and are proactive and responsive to short deadlines.
- You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a business team.
- You have strong time management skills, along with well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
- You have experience working in a task and goal-oriented team environment.
- You have a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
