About the Role:

As an Implementation Consultant Intern within Chamberlain Group's Emerging Business Group, you will learn the myQ Enterprise software and document key aspects of its functionality to help build out our knowledgebase. You will build a repository that helps existing consultants find answers more quickly,keeping projects on track and improving our ability to train new hires on myQ Enterprise.

You will learn about Chamberlain's IoT enabled commercial hardware, our myQ Enterprise software being deployed in warehouses and distribution centers, and work with existing Implementation Managers and Consultants as well as assist with a real project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Implementation Consultant Interns can expect to do the following:

  • Learn the myQ Enterprise software through trial and error, testing and assisting others during implementation

  • Build out sections of our knowledgebase with the details of how key features & functions work in the software

  • Use Jira and Confluence to create issues for software bugs (Jira) and maintain the knowledgebase (Confluence)

  • Attend meetings, including project status, product demos, and issues review

  • Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

  • Assist other team members with projects as needed

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business with an emphasis in supply chain, or a related field at an accredited college or university

  • Must be able to work at our Oak Brook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week

  • Ability to travel within the US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of project management concepts

  • Working knowledge of any project management and/or issue tracking software (Jira and Confluence preferred)

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products

  • Strong analytical abilities and effective writing and communication skills
