Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to temporarily join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. This role involves collaborating with management to deliver high-quality web solutions that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging and responsive websites that align with client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Implement information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation and usability across all devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO best practices into web designs.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks, including layout design and digital assets creation.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs for optimal performance.
• Manage content updates using CMS platforms such as Wordpress, ensuring consistency in design and functionality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Sketch.
• Strong understanding of information architecture principles and layout design techniques.
• Familiarity with Wordpress for database management related to web projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO strategies to optimize web content for search engines.
• Experience with Wordpress or similar content management systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects that demonstrate creativity and technical skills is required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
