Position Summary
Our NA Finance team has positions focused on Financial Planning and Analysis, Operations Finance, Logistics Finance, and more. We are hiring multiple Interns to support the various NA (North American) Finance teams. This position will be based out of our Toronto, Canada office. At McCain, we work in a hybrid model, with some days spent in the office and others working remotely.
In this role, the successful individual will partner to support the day-to-day operations of the NA Finance team. These teams play an essential role in McCain's operations and are integral to regional forecasting and planning.
What You Will Be Working On
Preparing monthly regional performance reporting vs. targets and key performance indicators, including the investigation and explanation of performance variances vs. target

Working with the Operational Tax Team, the Analyst's primary focus is to support the team in its daily operational and regulatory processes, by assisting in the timely and accurate completion of all daily activities as assigned and investigating and researching various tax related issues in Canadian, International and US tax matters. Key Accountabilities: Reconciliation* Prepare operational reconciliation reports of outstanding cash balances for multiple bank accounts, research and resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries from SIES Operations, Banking and Treasury
Billing* Assist with the Special Handling Billing spreadsheet for SIES and RM, and ensure that all billing details are logged on a given month’s tab
Tax* Canadian, US tax processing and research

The Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) of the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals assists the Program Delivery Department Leadership with ensuring that our programs and initiatives are aligned with current and changing industry standards and best practices. Finance Overview:
CEE has a goal to empower members with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the Finance industry. We offer workshops on key financial topics like budgeting, investments, insurance, mortgages, and real estate.
Finance Overview:
Insurance Program: A 10-week program plus a 12-week paid internship. This program offers industry-specific professional development covering topics such as insurance products,
underwriting processes, risk assessment, contracts and claims customer service, and industry regulations. The opportunity to develop both hard (i.e. Excel) and soft skills (i.e. communication, critical thinking, etc.)
Mortgage Exploration: A 10-week program with the potential for a paid placement. This
program covers topics such as Mortgage Lending & Banking, Mortgage Operations, Budgeting, Being Black in Finance, Property Acquisition and more. Our members can obtain their Mortgage Framework Certification through this program
Entertainment Overview
The CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals’ specialized programs nurture and support Black talent by providing training, mentorship, and networking to develop their creative skills and help them navigate the Entertainment industry.
Entertainment Programs:
E-Trades: An 8-week training and development program, with the potential for a 6-week paid placement, for those with a passion for a behind the scenes career in areas such as set construction, lighting, rigging, and audiovisual systems.
Styling: A 10-week program with the potential for a 4-week paid placement, for aspiring stylists, fashion aficionados, cosmetologists, and hair stylists. This program covers important theory and offers opportunity for practical application.
Tech Overview
The Tech Program offers both hands-on training to develop fundamental digital skills and the opportunity to earn industry certification to pursue a career in the technology.
Tech Programs:
Visual FX (VFX): A 23-week hybrid program with the potential for a 6-week paid placement. This program focuses on mastering industry standard NUKE and Adobe Creative software.
Additionally, participants earn skills in 3D Tracking, Monitor Compositing, Rig Removal, Greenscreen and Colour Keying Workflow, and more.
CEE Tech 2.0: A 24-week hybrid program with the potential for a 13-week paid placement. This program introduces Design Thinking, Illustrator, Photoshop, Web Design, and Coding as well as cybersecurity training that provides access to CISCO Net Certification Training and CISCO Packet Tracer, to develop skills in cybersecurity and networking essentials, Windows configuration,
cybersecurity gaming, and more.
Social Impact and Justice Reform
An initiative aimed to address systemic inequalities and promote fair treatment within legal, economic, and social systems. These efforts focus on creating sustainable change through advocacy.
Scope of Work
The Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) will audit CEE's industry programs, offering recommendations on standards, best practices, and emerging trends. It will provide guidance on planning and resource development to improve program delivery and advise on aligning CEE's curriculum with industry needs, particularly in relation to employability. Additionally, the Committee will recommend relevant industry
certifications to enhance programming and help develop industry leads to support workforce development for CEE members.

The application process begins with submitting a completed application form, including providing all required documents such as a resume, cover letter etc. Once the application is received, it undergoes an initial review to ensure the candidate meets the basic requirements. carefully evaluated, and successful applicants are notified of their selection followed by onboarding.
