Each year, we hire internships for a variety of positions at our locations throughout New England and upstate New York. There are opportunities to apply your knowledge in areas that include finance, marketing, operations, warehousing and equipment repair and service. Interns have opportunities to be exposed to all facets of the business. This internship is being offered for summer break 2025 and will be working in our Earthmoving & Compact Equipment Service Department. Pay: $20.00/hr.

What you will be doing
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support our digital marketing efforts by implementing and optimizing various campaigns. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for digital marketing. You will collaborate with team members to enhance our online presence and engage with our target audience effectively.
Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and paid advertising.
Design visually appealing marketing materials, including flyers, product catalogues, web & mobile app banners and landing pages, digital screens, and social media graphics, ensuring brand consistency.
Work with Product Managers, Branch Managers & Department Leads to create catalogues, flyers, brochures, and any other requested content.
Create engaging content for websites, e-campaigns, and social media platforms.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights
Assist with managing social media accounts on various platforms. This will include writing, editing, publishing content and analytics for Gerrie Electric.
Help create a content calendar to manage all platforms related to marketing initiatives
Assist with creating and maintaining customer segment lists, customer journeys, marketing email campaigns, digital forms, and surveys using Microsoft Dynamics
Help support SEO initiatives by conducting keyword research and optimizing content.
Work with E-Commerce Team on Initiatives
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for digital marketing.
Other marketing duties as assigned.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Branch Managers & Department Leads, and colleagues.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field (internships included).
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create marketing materials.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
Ability to multi-task managing multiple projects simultaneously.
