Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Speaking of projects, here’s the kind of work you’ll be given:

  • Support the development and rollout of new listening strategies and culture-building programs
  • Conduct research on industry best practices in employee engagement, recognition, and culture
  • Assist in creating compelling presentations and materials to communicate culture initiatives
  • Help manage data entry and tracking for engagement surveys, feedback tools, and program metrics
  • Provide general support for communication team projects and pitch in on occasional administrative tasks that keep our team running smoothly Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor or graduate degree program at an accredited university. Concentration in Marketing, Human Resources, or Communication preferred.

Purpose Statement

The Procurement Intern will be responsible for supporting United States/Canada Procurement Operations and our Global Procurement Optimization team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Accounting/Finance Intern

Purpose Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven! In this role you will work with our Finance/Corporate Planning Department supporting various functions with financial reporting and analysis. This internship will start in December 2024 and last aproximately until December 2025. This intern will work 15-20 hours/week in the Spring and Fall semesters, and up to 29 hours/week May - August 2025.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Standard monthly reporting including, but not limited to:
    • Consolidate, summarize, and analyze corporate budget vs. actual spend reports and communicate to various leaders.
    • Prepare price/volume/mix report and analysis for monthly governance decks.
  • Assist financial close and forecasting consolidation for United States and Canada business:
    • Load and verify actual and forecasted data for newly acquired companies into our reporting systems.
    • Consolidate and prepare presentation deck for Total Food Group flash forecast reporting.
  • Ad-hoc analysis for various finance requests using Oracle/Hyperion tools and SAP.
  • Analyze and maintain analysis of key competitors within the industry.
  • Project based work to enhance monthly close process.
  • Model development to streamline monthly reporting.

Purpose Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven! In this role you will work with our Finance/Corporate Planning Department supporting various functions with financial reporting and analysis. This internship will start in December 2024 and last aproximately until December 2025. This intern will work 15-20 hours/week in the Spring and Fall semesters, and up to 29 hours/week May - August 2025.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Standard monthly reporting including, but not limited to:
    • Consolidate, summarize, and analyze corporate budget vs. actual spend reports and communicate to various leaders.
    • Prepare price/volume/mix report and analysis for monthly governance decks.
  • Assist financial close and forecasting consolidation for United States and Canada business:
    • Load and verify actual and forecasted data for newly acquired companies into our reporting systems.
    • Consolidate and prepare presentation deck for Total Food Group flash forecast reporting.
  • Ad-hoc analysis for various finance requests using Oracle/Hyperion tools and SAP.
  • Analyze and maintain analysis of key competitors within the industry.
  • Project based work to enhance monthly close process.
  • Model development to streamline monthly reporting.
  • Utilize PowerBI software to enhance monthly forecasting. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a Bachelor's or Masters degree (concentration in Finance, Accounting, MIS or related field)
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft excel.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word & PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Oracle BI tools, PowerBI, and SAP preferred, but not required.
  • Functional competencies to include strong financial, problem solving & interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Must have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.

Purpose Statement

Rich Products is seeking an Accounting/Finance Intern who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our team. This internship will be an in-person at our World Headquarters office in Buffalo, NY starting in December 2024 and require 15-20 hours per week during the school semesters.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Assist with various financial reporting & analysis to support sales and marketing efforts for US/Canada Divisions.
  • Weekly sales/volume reporting
  • Monthly reporting such as for top customers, strategic customer reports, projected volume vs flash, etc.
  • Working with Sales and Marketing on product code reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Assistance with pricing models/bid P&L’s
  • Assistance with our target setting process i.e. case reporting, P&L reporting, SG&A spending, etc.
  • Communicating with USC Finance and Sales & Marketing Teams to understand requests, prepare & share results
